Models (STL, 3MF, OBJ, STEP) or photos and drawings. Up to 5 files, 32.0 MB each. Photos of a broken part from two or three angles, with a ruler or a coin in shot for scale, are worth more than a paragraph.

02 How it should be printed

Every one of these can be left on "not sure" — telling us what the part has to survive is more useful than telling us which plastic to use.

What will it have to put up with?

This is the single most useful line on the form. A part that lives in a car needs a different plastic from one that sits on a shelf.
